Marriage is the biggest decision many individuals make in their life. The average wedding cost $32,641 and takes on average 14.5 months to plan. However, few couples invest the same time, money, and energy into strengthening their relationship for the years to come after their big day. With the right guidance, pre-marital counseling can set your marriage down the path to success and many years together.
At Healing Bridge Counseling, we seek to assist couples as they prepare for this giant decision. The benefit of choosing to do pre-marital counseling with Healing Bridge Counseling is being able to work with a counselor who is both a LPC-MHSP and a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator.

“My fiancé and I used Jacob for our premarital counseling. We are not using the course for a discount on our license; it was strictly to for us to feel more prepared and find ways to improve our relationship even more. He was very professional but very enjoyable! We learned so much!! I would definitely go back in the future if we ever felt like we needed or wanted it.”Pre-Marital Counseling Client

What is PREPARE/ENRICH?
It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and premarital education. It is also used for marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement. Based on a couple’s individual assessment results, a trained facilitator provides feedback sessions in which the facilitator helps the couple discuss and understand their results as they are taught proven relationship skills. In order to achieve these goals, exercises designed to help couples improve their relationship skills will be taught during the following sessions.

When not working, Jacob enjoys spending time with his friends and family around great food, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the Nashville Predators. When Jacob is able to slip away from Nashville, he loves to visit and experience new places. No matter where he is, Jacob is always ready to meet someone new and hear about their journey.
